Royal Legacy on Desert Sand
Rajasthan's two Ranji titles came back-to-back in 2010-11 and 2011-12 โ a golden run that remains the high-water mark. The SMS Stadium in Jaipur has hosted Tests and serves as the base for an association that has produced India cricketers from Pankaj Singh to Deepak Chahar.
In 2025-26, Deepak Hooda was the standout: 130 in the opening win against Chhattisgarh and a stunning 248 against Mumbai โ the team's highest individual score of the season. Manav Suthar's 8/42 against Chhattisgarh was the best bowling performance. But an innings defeat to J&K โ Auqib Nabi taking 7/24 โ was a low point, and Rajasthan finished fifth in Group D.
Captain Mahipal Lomror held the squad together through a mixed campaign. With Hooda's batting and Suthar's spin, the pieces are there for a push back up the table.
