The Young State's Cricket Journey
Formed in 2000 when Madhya Pradesh was bifurcated, Chhattisgarh made its Ranji debut in 2016 and has quickly established itself. The 2025-26 season saw one win and five draws from seven matches โ good enough for 3rd in Group D with 17 points.
Ravi Kiran was the star, taking 7/82 vs J&K and 6/90 vs HP โ two outstanding bowling performances. Amandeep Khare's 156 against J&K and Aayush Pandey's 117* in a follow-on vs Mumbai showed the batting has grit too.
